Bristol is located in Hartford County in Western Connecticut of the United States. In the fall months of September and October, it holds an annual Chrysanthemum Festival which features a pageant, parade and games among other things. Nearby Southington, a twenty minute drive, holds an Apple Harvest Festival annually. The Carousel Museum of New England is a popular attraction here, where large collections of carousel pieces are displayed.
