The Lakehouse

This majestic two story log home presents dramatic views of the lake and the La Plata Mountains. From the spacious deck watch rainbows, clouds, fish, birds and stars. Listen to the calls of owls, orioles and red winged blackbirds. Hear a kingfisher calling. Smell the pinion and juniper mixed with sage. Stroll down to the boats for a lovely ride or a bit of fishing. A 40-foot ceiling in the living room surrounds you with comfortable antiques and art. A gas fireplace adds ambiance and warmth.

The bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed, stained glass windows, views of lush gardens and a sitting room with a western porch and separate entrance. Private, sunny and cozy all describe this room. There is a half bath on the first floor.
