The hospitality, warmth, friendliness, and site of this bed and breakfast is outstanding. We would return for a more extended visit. ~ Posted on 10/28/2008
This lodge has a terrific view of Mesa Verde, and is located on 86 acres. We stayed in the Log Cabin, and it was rustic, but had all the necessary conveniences. The bathtub was a real treat-unique and in keeping with the setting. I won't spoil the surprise for you! Our hosts were gracious and left a great deal of information about the area in the cabin. Go there and enjoy! ~ Mary, 10/04/2008
We stayed in the cabin at Sundance Bear Lodge while visiting Mesa Verde. This works really well. You can spend the day at dry and hot Mesa Verde then come home and cook your own dinner and afterwards relax on the back porch enjoying the view of the mountains. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful place, the magnificent Mancos Valley, and the hospitality of the Scotts. We travel with a Yorky whom they welcomed and kept an eye on during the day while we were out sightseeing. For the price of a cramped hotel room we had two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, porches, acres of beautiful land, views, and that hardest of all things to find while traveling, CHARM. ~ Phyllis, 08/26/2008
