Golden oak woodwork and floors, leaded windows, and spacious rooms are just some of the architectural and decorator features that make this home a charming reminder of Fort Collins' early years. Banker Charles Sheldon and his wife Martha Trimble Sheldon designed this home to reflect their tastes and prominent role in the bustling business community. Great care has been taken to preserve that atmosphere in combination with contemporary hospitality and amenities. |

Our home is centrally located just two blocks from the Colorado State University campus and the Lincoln Center. We're four blocks from historic Old Town and six blocks from City Park, Sheldon Lake and the restored Fort Collins Municipal Trolley. Numerous restaurants, featuring menus from simple western cafes to European bistros and microbreweries, are within an easy walk. (click here for directions to The Sheldon House). If it's meeting space that you need, our original solid oak pocket doors create a private and comfortable space for all. At the Sheldon House, we specialize in small weddings, corporate offsite meetings, afternoon teas, bridal and baby showers as well as birthdays, anniversaries and engagement parties. |

We have the doors of the Sheldon House open for guests who can choose from one of four spacious and distinctively decorated guest rooms, each with private bath. Furniture, bedding, quilts, and other carefully selected furnishings - along with a sumptuous breakfast - combine to make your visit one to remember. Start your day in our dining room with your choice of breakfast fare. You won't leave the Sheldon House hungry. Select from generous portions of fresh fruit, juices, baked goods, and coffees to accompany our special daily breakfast entrée. |

Browse through the house library, use the house telephone, watch television or a video from our library, or talk with us about our home, Fort Collins, or your travels. There's a patio for outdoor relaxation and a small walking garden that is a perfect place to reflect on the events of your day.
