The Helen Porter Room
Named for Dr. Porter's Mother. Helen Porter purchased the land that The Porter House is built on. Our largest room has an elegant brass and iron bed, an adjacent private bath, large vanity with double sinks, complete with a clawfoot tub and shower. This room has an eclectic collection of antiques. $125.00
- Rates based on per night, double-occupancy.
- Advance reservations suggested.
- Payment may be made by cash, travelers check, VISA, MasterCard or American
Express.
- If you cancel less than 14 days before your reservations, we may not be
able to rebook, in which case room rate will be charged for one night. If
we rebook, there is no charge.
- Check-in from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Special
arrangements can be made to accommodate your schedule for
arrivals after 6:00 p.m.
- Check-out at 11:00 a.m.
- For the comfort of all guests, The Porter House is a
Non-Smoking Inn.
- The Inn cannot accommodate pets, but with advance notice we can recommend
local kennels.
- Because of anitque furnishings throughout the Inn and lack of entertainment
for younger children, the Inn is recommended for children 12 years of age
or older.
