Introduction
Paul and Louanne Timm invite you to visit their working ranch located 4 miles from the Pawnee National Grassland where over 250 different species of birds can be found.
If rodeos and Indians peak your curiosity we are the place to stay. Our ranch is located 35 miles south of Cheyenne, WY, home of Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and 18 miles away is Grover's own Earl Anderson Memorial Rodeo.
Bring your own horse and ride horse back with us as you try your hand at our ranch routines such as moving cattle, checking fences and water wells. Group rates are available to riding clubs.
Our ranch offers a unique opportunity to observe and take part in our calving operation the months of March and April. Spring time blossoms on the prairie when baby calves are running around! Our guests frequently see a calf being born. Of course feeding hay to the cows and calves after a hearty ranchers breakfast is a must!
Our ranch boarders the Pawnee National Grasslands where over 250 different species of birds can be found. We offer bird watching tours plus early breakfast for bird watchers.
Open all year except Christmas Day and Easter our ranch offers guests the opportunity to participate in ranch activities or rest, relax, and get away from the "busy life." Children are always welcome.

Horseback riding
We are 4 miles from the Pawnee National Grasslands. The grassland's are a bird watchers paradise and also a great area for hiking. Tired of trail rides? Bring your horse and ride side by side on some of our 7,000 acres of prairie. The Pawnee Buttes is another great area for riding horses.
Bird Watching
Our ranch offers a variety of birds including the Burrowing Owl, Mountain Plover, McCowen's Longspur and Chestnut - collard Longspur. Prairie flowers and birds are abundant in spring.
Pawnee National Grasslands
We are 4 miles from the Pawnee National Grasslands. The grasslands offer bird watching, prairie flowers , hiking and horse back riding.

30 miles East of the ranch are the Pawnee Buttes. Listed on the Pawnee Pioneer Byways of Colorado, the Pawnee Buttes were called the "Rattlesnake Buttes" in James Michner's Centennial.
18 miles East of the ranch is the Grover Depot Museum that is on the State Registry of Historical Places. It is a two story wooden depot built in 1888.
The Dave Bashor Ranch horse sale will be held June 21,2008. Dave and Beth have been featured in the Western Horseman magazine and his sale is known to be one of the best sales in Colorado and nearby states.
