Built in 1909, The Mansion has been recently renovated and restored to its original splendor. We opened as a new bed and breakfast in the spring of 2006 and are now open to guests year-round. The Mansion is located in the heart of the scenic San Luis Valley in the central Southern part of Colorado. We are nestled in downtown Monte Vista within walking distance of several restaurants, a movie theater and downtown shopping. We have surrounding views of the Sangre de Cristo, La Garita and San Juan Mountain Ranges where outdoor activities abound year-round.

Monte Vista is surrounded by small farming operations which produce a wide variety of vegetables, barley for Coors, cattle, sheep, and one of the most unique farms in our area is the only Alligator Farm in Colorado. Another great day trip is a visit to Our Lady of Guadelupe Parish Church (the oldest church in Colorado) located in the town of Conejos, which is the oldest town in Colorado. Located there is one of the area's most cherished monuments, the Stations of the Cross shrine, sculpted by local artist.
