Introduction
Lower Lake Ranch is a unique mountain venue that offers outdoor recreation for most outdoor and mountain enthusiast. In the summer enjoy fly fishing at the ranch or travel down Elk Creek Road to the Platte River for faster waters. Either choice offers a great day of fishing in the stream, in the lakes or in the river.
Collage recognized and awarded the Ranch as a mountain venue with
"The Best Outdoor Photos in America, Majestic and Stunning Views"
How about mountain biking or hiking? Lower Lake offers many interior hiking trails at 8000+ feet or bring your own bike and take off for a day of riding mountain roads that lead you to the Platte River or Pike National Forest or drop in for a cup of coffee at a shop in the historical community of Pine Grove. Most biking trails and roads will provide you with a 12+ mile loop or greater. If riding a longer distance is your adventure continue on to the Buffalo Creek Area then head back to the Ranch and after dinner relax with a cup of tea or coffee while viewing the stars. After a day of outdoor activities enjoy dinner at a variety of local restaurants or grill a steak outside your cabin on an outdoor grill. When it is time for bed, rest your head on a comfortable pillow top mattress.
Group gatherings are another great feature offered at the ranch. Host a family reunion, a wedding, a corporate retreat, anniversary or birthday celebration. Reserve the ranch for a great memory get-a-way. Families can reserve the ranch from 2 to 5 days and begin enjoying ranch activities. For example, Friday night grill your hamburgers or hotdogs at North Fork Ball Park. Saturday host a wedding or family reunion or anniversary celebration. Sunday reserve a fishing guide for family and friends to learn more about fly fishing. Monday reserve a White Water rafting trip and then rest on Tuesday. Customized packages are available.
Bring your own horse. The ranch provides horse owners a special opportunity to "bring your horse" then take off for a ride during the day. The barn and stalls are conveniently located to the cabins.
The Ranch is located just 20 to 30 minutes from Denver, Colorado and Red Rocks Park in Morrison, Colorado. After attending a concert at Red Rocks make a reservation to stay in a cabin for a relaxing weekend. www.redrocksonline.com
