| Introduction |

Liars' Lodge is a modern log lodge built just before the turn of the century. With 23 pinion covered acres, you're less than a mile from town, but you'll think you're miles from nowhere. The lodge sits right on the banks of the Arkansas River with over one-third mile of virtually exclusive river frontage. Watch out your window or from one of the decks as rafters and kayakers cruise by, or launch your own boat right above House Rock. The lodge has a huge great room with 25-foot ceilings and a massive rock fireplace. Each room has its own private attached bath, some with Jacuzzi tubs and lofts for kids. Enjoy a full mountain breakfast in the riverside dining area, or outdoors on the deck above the river, or dine in the solarium as the sun bathes Mt. Princeton in warm morning colors. |

Don't be surprised if a mule deer family cruises by grazing on the wild flowers or an occasional golden eagle soars over Sleeping Indian Mountain looking for his breakfast. A 'snack sack' to go is part of the human fare and has noon-time munchies for those who won't be near civilization during the day.

| Little House on the Arkansas | Little House on the Arkansas is a cedar sided cabin. It has 1200 sq. ft of modern mountain comfort, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a full kitchen and a large deck overlooking the Arkansas River. It is so secluded you'll find yourself conversing with the mule deer and brown trout instead of a two legged neighbor. The cabin shares 1/3 mile of virtually exclusive river frontage with our lodge (Liars' Lodge B&B) and our 23 pinion covered acres. The master bedroom is equipped with a king and a twin (or 3 twins) and the other bedroom has one queen bed. There is a large futon couch in the living room. A TV is included but no phone and there is a gas grill on the deck and a campfire pit close to the river. Enjoy the sounds of the Arkansas as you look out on Mt. Princeton and the other 14'ers (14,000' mountains). New Fireplace, New Washer & Dryer, Telephone Available. Minimum stays may be required, breakfast not included, no pets or kids under 5. |
