Introduction
La Roca de Tiza, a romantic three-room mountain home is a hidden gem on five wooded acres. Located in Chalk Creek Canyon, truly nestled between 14,000-foot peaks, in the San Isabel National Forest. Due to the location in the "Banana Belt" of Colorado, it has cool, sunny summer days and mild winter sun-drenched afternoons.
La Roca's interior is casually elegant with an exposed post and beam
construction. The two fireplaces are wonderful areas to chat, relax and enjoy the peace of the valley. You may wish to walk to the creek, simply swing on the deck, or enjoy the hot tub filled with water from the hot water well.
In the morning, a full mountain breakfast will be served in the dining room or on the deck.
A variety of packed lunches can be provided for a small additional charge.
