She turned her love of the eastern plains into a labor of love while literally transforming an old, tired Railroad hotel, built in 1918, into a place of comfortable hospitality.

Cheyenne Wells is located just 18 miles west of the Kansas border in Colorado. In July, Cheyenne Wells has an annual Tumbleweed Festival that features games and crafts as well as softball and horseshoe tournaments. The Christmas season begins in Cheyenne Wells with firefighters putting lights up along main street, including a visit from Santa Claus right around Christmas time to take last minute requests! Staying at a Cheyenne Wells bed and breakfast will give quick access to Medicine Arrow Park which is located on South 2nd West. It features a lighted cement walking path, a picnic area, lighted regulation-size basketball court, horseshoe pits, and a playground. Cheyenne Wells' Smoky River Golf Course is located on 475 North 2nd East and is open year round, with a tournament schedule from April through October. It is right next door to the Cheyenne Wells pool and Cheyenne Wells Picnic Pavilion. After you rest up at your Cheyenne Wells B&B or Cheyenne inn, grab some food at the Cheyenne Tavern.
