Introduction

Century House Cottages - Salida, Colorado Located in Salida's oldest residential district, this sweet l908 duplex offers two ideal accommodations. Whether you travel as a couple, family or small group of friends, these cottages offer privacy, charm, comfort, convenience and versatility. In the former parlors, now serving as second bedrooms, are cast iron stoves dated l890 surrounded with the original tile and fireplace mantels. Each cottage has pocket doors, large footed bathtubs, and wall-hung sinks.

A back deck provides privacy and quiet for an early morning cup of coffee. A gas grill is available for a late afternoon cookout. Small front porches with comfortable seating are ideal for relaxation and catching a great sunset. These rental cottages are the perfect alternative to hotel or motel lodging.

Colorado Cottage

The bedroom offers a King size-bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds that if desired can be made up as a second King. In the living room, there is a futon which can sleep 2. A fully furnished and equipped kitchen, a TV/VCR/DVD and a gas grill make this cabin alternative popular for both short and extended stays.

English Cottage

(Currently occupied by Innkeeper) With a sofa sleeper in the living room, the English Cottage will sleep up to six. A completely furnished kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils and dishes, a TV/VCR and a gas grill makes this cottage a very family friendly choice for your extended stay.

Rates and Policies
  • Check In: 4 - 6 p.m.; Check Out: 10:30 a.m.
  • Cancellation is required seven days prior to your arrival.
  • Special restrictions may apply for holidays, special events and extended stays.
  • A tax of 8.8% will be added to room rates.
  • Payment: Cash, Check, Visa, or MasterCard
  • Cottage Rental is $90 to $165 a night, double occupancy.
  • Charge of $10 for each additional person over 2 (including children over 1 year of age)
  • Extend stay rates available; holiday & special event dates excluded.
  • Rates subject to change.
  • Please, no smoking or pets.
  • The Cottages DO NOT provide phones or internet access.
  • No cleaning deposit is required; however, a fee of $50 will be charged to your credit card if the oven needs to be cleaned or for any other cleaning deemed "excessive" by innkeeper.
