Fifth Annual West Elks Wine Tour and Dinner (8/15/2008 thru 8/17/2008) The Paonia Bed and Breakfast Association invites you to spend a weekend with us (August 15-17). Arrive Friday evening and meet the other guests. Then, after a restful night and a scrumptious breakfast, we?ll take you on a tour of the wineries in the West Elks Viticultural Area. You?ll have an opportunity to sample the wines of Terror Creek Winery, Stone Cottage Cellars, S. Rhodes Vineyards, Black Bridge Winery, Leroux Creek Vineyards, Jack Rabbit Hill, and Alfred Eames Cellars. We?ll top off the day with a chuckwagon dinner beside the North Fork of the Gunnison River -- accompanied with local wines, of course. Then it?s time to sit on the porch, enjoy the sunset and the evening breezes that are credited with making the fruit of the valley so sweet.
