Bennett is a high plains community that lies in Adams and Arapahoe counties in Colorado. One of the local attractions is a festive outdoor holiday program held in December that precedes the lighting of the beautiful Tree of Lights at the Historical Charles Muegge House. Following the Tree of Lights ceremony, the Parade of Lights with Chili Supper is held and all chili fans are welcome. Visitors can enjoy the urban highlights and beautiful views of Denver only 25 miles from Bennett. The town features the alpine recreation of the great Rocky Mountains only an hour's drive away.
