The inn is only 18 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Resort where you can ski the best and most snow in Colorado. "Awesome" is the best description of Wolf Creek. Wait till you go down Tranquility - the view is indescribable! There is also cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing & climbing, ice skating, or you may wish to take a sleigh ride.
The activities and sights in the South Fork area year round are plentiful. Horseback riding, fishing, jeep tours, mountain biking & climbing, scenic mountain driving, and hiking await you. The Creede Repertory Theater stages ten shows annually during the summer and September. Close by is the Great Sand Dunes National Park, and 3 hours away Mesa Verde National Park where the ancient ones lived.
