A STONE’S THROW AWAY is located on the West end of New Providence, 10 minutes by car away from 2 Golf courses, the Cable Beach area and 20 minutes away from Downtown Nassau / Paradise Island.

This exquisite hideaway is perched on one of the highest elevations by the coast. The construction of the house was completed in July 2004. It accommodates 20 guests comfortably with 8 private rooms (with shower) and 2 exclusive suites (with shower and bath).

Let us assist you in organizing an unforgettable wedding story; from the selection of a wedding planner, a photographer, a chef, to the setting of an exquisite bridal suite adorned with bouquets of roses and orchids.

Each room has a king size bed, air conditioning and a mini bar. The rooms are also equipped with cable TV, DVD and an Internet connection.

Woven of legendary Egyptian cotton with a luxurious 400-thread count, the sheets have a smooth, even hand. At 820 grams, our towels are unmatched in softness and density. Amenities are supplied by L'Occitane en Provence which Aromachologie line of products blends essential oils and natural ingredients to provide a unique purifying, relaxing and revitalizing experience.

In the living room, guests can relax on our comfortable couches and enjoy the amazing ocean view. On the porch, teak furniture and cushions provide a unique atmosphere where guests can experience the feeling of the tropical breezes. The larger porch, off the Ocean View rooms, accommodates additional loungers as well as antique Indonesian teak daybeds for those staying in these rooms.

In the morning, breakfast is served in the dining room. During the day, a gourmet snack menu is available. Later, we may set a bar area on the porch or by the pool where exotic and refreshing cocktails may be ordered.

Each room has a double door opening up to the wrap-around porch. The Suites do not have a direct access to the porch but are bigger rooms (400 sq. ft.) and benefit from an amazing panoramic view of the island and of the ocean. Rates include a hot gourmet breakfast. Prices do not include a 6% government tax. Sorry, we cannot accommodate extra beds in any of the rooms.

Other terms and conditions:

  • Reservation & Cancellation:
    A deposit equivalent to one night-stay plus tax for each room booked is required to confirm your reservation. It will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Please complete the Reservation form (download in .PDF format available on this page) and fax it to us at +1 (242) 327-7040. Should you have to cancel your reservation the deposit – less a US$35 processing fee - will be refunded, provided that the cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to the check-in date. Please note that we are unable to make refunds under any circumstances for late arrivals or early departures.

  • Check-in & check-out:
    Check-in time is after 2pm. Check out time is 11am.

  • Information for Families:
    We do not have any facilities for children. When considering whether to bring your family here, please bear in mind that our Guests visit us because of our quiet ambience and to get away from disturbances.

  • Wheelchair access:
    Access to our facilities is only possible via stairs. We do not have any special access for wheelchairs.
  • Smoking:
    Smoking is only permitted on the porch.
