  • Introduction

Mettawas End Bed and Breakfast - Kingsville, OntarioOwners Megan and Roland are pleased to welcome you to their Kingsville century house open now as a Bed and Breakfast. This house has been in Megan's family for three quarters of a century since the early 1900's. Luckily, the restoration and installation of modern features didn't take that long. We hope you will enjoy the comfort, the lake views, as well as the original architecture of this former grand summer cottage. During your stay you may wish to take advantage of our close proximity to many centers of interest, such as the 13 wineries of this famous wine making region and Point-Pelee National Park.

Surrounded by our garden, this lakeside "cottage" offers you a special historical atmosphere. It was built in 1891 across the street from the Mettawas Resort and Casino, a Grand Hotel, constructed by whiskey baron Hiram Walker. Our cottage was built for his son, Franklin H. Walker, and is all that remains: Mettawas End.
