    Relax in the restored elegance of this historic landmark 1872 Inn, located in the charming town of Gananoque, Gateway to the 1000 Islands. The Inn features 12 exquisite air conditioned rooms, all with private bathrooms and unique décor – many offering whirlpool tubs and working fireplaces.

Relax in the restored, authentic elegance of this historic landmark Inn, completely renovated in 2006. The Inn boasts welcoming living spaces with original wood floors, a classically serene color palette and stunning views from grand windows found throughout the building.

    A complimentary Island Breakfast of fresh fruits and juice, home baked pastries, cereals, yogurts and gourmet coffee and tea is offered daily from 8:00 – 9:30 am. Also available to all guests is the use of the sofa lounge, the main living room and the spacious verandah, located on the ground floor of the Inn. Games, television, and a wide array of books are available to choose from, including substantial information about the I000 Islands region and it’s history. Tea, coffee, and ice are complimentary on a 24 hour basis.

    • Our Staff are available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to advise and recommend the finest restaurants and attractions in the area, to help you with Package details, and to assist you in any way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible
    • The living rooms and the verandas, located on the ground floor of the Inn, are available to all guests. Games, television, and a wide array of books are available to choose from, including substantial information about the 1000 Islands region and its history. (Tea, coffee, and ice are complimentary on a 24 hour basis). The verandas have a commanding view of the gardens, and are perfect for reading, relaxing, or enjoying a cool afternoon drink.
    • The Inn is set on two acres of lush, park-like grounds, and a stroll around the gardens or an afternoon spent reading or snoozing in a quiet corner of the terrace is not to be missed. Guests are invited to enjoy the gardens, all outdoor seating areas and the shaded gazebo..
    • Our “All Welcome” policy includes children of all ages, and those under 12 stay free. A trip to the ‘Treasure Box’ welcomes our young guests, and a basket of bedtime storybooks is available. In addition, sand toys and towels are available for use on the small sandy beach, located just a short walk from the Inn.     The Victoria Rose Inn is located in the picturesque town of Gananoque, Ontario, directly in the heart of the world famous 1000 Islands region. About 20 minutes east of Kingston, Ontario, the area is easily accessible, and offers historic architecture, incredible scenery, wonderful shops and restaurants, and the magnificent 1000 Islands.

    From Ottawa follow Highway 416 South to Highway 401. Take Highway 401 West to Gananoque (exit 645). Turn left and head south on Highway 32, which will change to Stone Street, and continue to the King St. intersection. Turn right (west) on King St. Keep right after the bridge, and look for the Victoria Rose Inn on the left. (Travel time: 1.5 hours)

    From Montreal take Highway 20 west to the Ontario border. Highway 20 becomes Highway 401 as you enter Ontario. Continue on Highway 401 west and exit at Gananoque (exit 645). Turn left and head south on Highway 32, which will change to Stone St., and continue to the King St intersection.Turn right (west) on King St. Keep right after the bridge, and look for the Victoria Rose Inn on the left. (Travel time: 2.5 hours)

    From Syracuse follow Interstate 81 North over the Thousand Islands Bridge. Once in Canada, head west on the 1000 Islands Parkway, and exit at the signs for Gananoque. Turn left at the lights, and continue through Gananoque on King Street East. Continue on King Street, and cross the bridge. After crossing the bridge, keep to the right, and continue up the slight hill, and look for the Victoria Rose Inn on the left.

    From Toronto follow Highway 401 east past Kingston, and exit at the Joyceville Road, (exit 632). Turn right, (south), and follow the Joyceville Road to Highway 2. Turn left, (east) and follow the Highway 2 into Gananoque. Continue approximately 1km past the town gate. The Victoria Rose Inn is on the right hand side. (Travel time: 3 hours)
