"A beautifully revitalized Edwardian mansion-cum-luxurious B & B... nestled along quiet tree-lined residential street a short walk from the downtown Inner Harbour. Rich mahogany woodwork throughout and wonderful fire-placed library. Exquisite in all respects...." - Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report

"The Beaconsfield Inn was awarded the International BED & BREAKFAST OF THE YEAR AWARD by Andrew Harper.

"A beautiful Edwardian mansion transformed into a handsome residential B&B not far from the Inner Harbour." Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report

"..gorgeously restored old mansion one block from Beacon Hill Park ..... comfortingly modern touches like the tiled Jacuzzis and the warm welcoming tone are set by the owner who has filled it with beautiful antiques, persian carpets, tropical plants and original works of art." Vancouver Province

"Of all the imitation England spots, this is the best. Tree-lined Humboldt Street is closer to the hub of downtown than its quiet demeanor would suggest, so the Beaconsfield's location just two blocks from Beacon Hill Park is prime. It's meant to convey a sense of romance and hideaway and does, with nine antique-filled bedrooms, all with private baths and down comforters...." - Northwest Best Places, 11th Edition

"...guest rooms each with private bath, goose-down comforters... wood-burning fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs.. skylights and charming leaded, stained-glass windows. The beds are wonderfully comfortable; we slept like logs. Outside our window we were able to see the charming gardens so beautifully tended, lovely in every season." - Vancouver Province
