Granville Street north of 16th Avenue terminates 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) away at the downtown Vancouver Sea Bus Terminal which connects the Vancouver Central Business Disctrict to North Vancouver. Granville Street from West 41st Avenue to West 16th Avenue is the main road of Shaughnessy, which Wikipedia describes as “Vancouver’s wealthiest neighbourhood” and site of many historical homes. Granville Street from West 16th Avenue to the Granville Street Bridge/West 5th Avenue is called the South Granville Rise with hundreds of upscale shops and many restaurants (including 4 time Restaurant of the Year “West”).
