Your hosts, Jack and Monica, welcome you to step back to the year 1902 as you enter this gracious, California Craftsman-type home built by Illinois State Senator Fred E. Harding. This authentic, two-story, turn-of-the-century home features incomparable Port Orford cedar woodwork on the walls and ceilings. Guest tours will review family history and provide detail on the antiques, paintings and Oriental rugs which have been passed down to the hosts, fourth generation descendants of Senator Harding. You may enjoy sitting on the veranda, listening to the sounds of water fountains and birdsong, or resting on a hammock under the majestic live oak tree as you watch the changing colors of the sunset.
