Smith River is located 13 miles north of Crescent City in northern California. Every year there is a Veterans Day parade in downtown Crescent City. The Smith River Rancheria also hosts a weekly Town Language Gathering. Nautical enthusiasts will want to visit the Ship Ashore museum, which features Native American and natural history displays housed in a 1925-era luxury yacht.You can also tour the St. George Reef Lighthouse by foot or by helicopter.
