Only ten minutes from downtown Redding,
and ten minutes from Lake Shasta,
this is the perfect getaway...

The Shasta cottage is located in the middle of about five acres of rolling hills that teem with wildlife. Deer, wild turkey and quail are frequent visitors. There is only one cottage, so our guests get the maximum in privacy - with as much personal attention as they want.

Enjoy the Beauty of Nature from the Porch

Cozy Bedroom This is a very roomy, but cozy one bedroom cottage just off of the main house. It features such amenities as satellite TV and high speed Internet connections via your own laptop and our wi-fi systems, or for a small additional fee you can use our computer systems in the main house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove-top, microwave oven and refrigerator. Everything you need for a simple continental breakfast is there whenever you are ready. Other food services are available, ranging from a Champaign breakfast in bed to a three course dinner. Let us know your needs when you make your reservation. The bedroom is a large but cozy retreat. It features a comfortable king-size bed. The sliding glass door looks out over a wooden porch and the back yard. The bathroom contains a large shower and a washer/dryer.

Cottage Policies:
  • Advanced reservations are required.
  • Rates are quoted for two people per night.
  • All major credit cards are accepted with the exception of American Express.
  • First night's deposit required for confirmed booking.
  • We do not accept checks.
Room Rates:
  • Monday through Thursday nights: $69
  • Friday through Sunday night: $79 (two day minimum on weekends) 10% discount for a stay of five or more nights.
  • Stays of one night please add $10 cleaning fee (non-refundable). Ten dollar cleaning fee will be waived for stays of two nights or more.
Check-In Time: 4 to 6 p.m. or by prior arrangements. Check-Out Time: 11 a.m. or by prior arrangements.
Cancellation Policy: With five days' notice, your deposit, less $20 for handling costs, will be refunded. With less than five days' notice, a refund less the $20 handling fee will be made providing we are able to book the room. Requests of the House: Smoking is permitted on the patio only. Additional persons or children are welcome for a small additional fee. Prior arrangements may be made for pets.
