A full gourmet breakfast is created by Chef Marie using her favorite cookbook (her own Plantation Brunch, lavishly illustrated by photographer Scott). The freshest ingredients are used, often grown on the Plantation. Enjoy this memorable meal in the elegant dining room or sit outside in the spacious brick courtyard overlooking the pool and gardens. In the last eleven years over 29,000 people from 95 countries have enjoyed Chef Marie's breakfast. Stroll through the lawns and acre Grove Park and you will see not only orange trees but grapefruit, plum, apricot, cherry, lemon, tangerine, avocado, fig, pear, pomegranate, apple, nectarine, banana and olive trees, as well as grapevines and herb and vegetable gardens that provide the freshest produce possible. Just for your sensual delight recline in an Adirondack chair under a weeping willow, laze in a hammock suspended between palm trees. There is a Television and VCR in the Parlor, along with over 200 movies for your viewing pleasure. The swimming pool, which is heated in the spring, plus the Jacuzzi Hot Tub, always heated and located out in the orange grove for privacy, are open 24 hours. |
