Introduction
The Lodge at Pine Cove is a 5-room Bed and Breakfast nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains at 6200' just minutes from the beautiful mountain village of Idyllwild, and about a 2-hour drive from most of Southern California. Enjoy our century-old lodge, with parquet wood floor, vaulted ceiling, a fieldstone fireplace, spectacular views of Lily Rock and the San Jacinto Mountains, and many quiet decks and patios from which you can listen to the breeze, and watch the squirrels, blue jays, and woodpeckers play in the pines and oaks.
Breakfast is served family-style in the Lodge every morning, and is included in the price of the room. It features one of our famous breakfast quiches, hotcakes and sausage, French toast or other enticing hot entree, plus a variety of homemade baked-that-morning muffins, a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, sweet orange juice and a selection of teas and steaming coffee, ground fresh with each pot. It's over breakfast that guests are guided to the best trails and shopping Idyllwild and Pine Cove has to offer.
Your Innkeepers pride themselves in making your getaway a special experience. The lodge has a library of books, videos (complete with popcorn!), and board games for your enjoyment. Plenty of comfortable seating, most surrounding our large fieldstone fireplace, is great for curling up with a good book, or playing a board game with a new friend. Enjoy the sunshine, and spectacular view of Lily Rock from our large patio and grounds. The Lodge at Pine Cove is a smoke-free Inn, but we would be happy to provide you with an ashtray for use on the porch, decks, and patio. Wireless internet access is available throughout the lodge.
Celebrate the beginning of your new life together at the Lodge. Our lovely country garden, decks, and arbor, can accommodate up to 85 guests. The patio can accommodate smaller weddings of up to 40 guests. Both feature the spectacular backdrop of Lily Rock. Because our wedding location is outdoors, weddings are limited to the months of May through October. We look forward to making your special day memorable, and would love to discuss the details with you. Please call us to schedule a time to meet.
