Introduction
Mission Inn, established in 1959, is an Early California Hacienda Style Bed & Breakfast nestled in the coastal Capistrano Valley between the Pacific Ocean and the Cleveland National Forest. Our Inn is adjacent to the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano and is located in a two-acre century old family orchard.
Each of our guest rooms at the Mission Inn San Juan Capistrano is uniquely appointed and named in honor of one of the beautiful Missions along coastal California. The melodic sound of the Mission bells can be heard while strolling through historic San Juan, and they can be heard whispering in your ear as you lounge around the Inn's pool or while sipping sherry on our veranda.
We are very pet friendly and provide each furry friend with a guest pet amenity.
Each of our twenty rooms is individually decorated and has cable television, data ports, refrigerators, bathrobes, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards. Let our friendly staff assist with your recreational requests from a day at Disneyland, yacht charters and scuba diving off our pristine coast, a visit to the art galleries in Laguna Beach, or horseback riding at our world famous equestrian grounds. If fine dining is your desire, please let us recommend some of the finest restaurants within walking distance in Historic downtown or along our breathtaking California coast.
Mission San Juan Capistrano, "The Jewel of the California Missions", was founded in 1776 by Father Junipero Serra and is California's third largest tourist attraction. Every March, the swallows return to San Juan Capistrano where they live and have their young and then return to Argentina in October.
A walk through the streets of San Juan Capistrano reveals over 250 years of California history. You can stroll down Los Rios Street, considered one of the oldest residential streets in California, and enter a two hundred-year-old adobe, and visit cottage style shops and galleries along the tree-lined street. Laguna Beach is the home to world-class artists and galleries. The Annual Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Festival are a must for any summer holiday. Some of the finest surfing beaches are found along our coast.
