Location, Location, Location -- Auberge Mendocino is "the location" for your special day. A lovely ocean view garden, a quiet beach, Spectacular Ocean headlands, 350 acres of adjoining parklands and a restored 1860’s farmhouse and seaside cottage are yours to use for your Mendocino wedding ceremony and reception needs. Located just a little over a mile south of the historic village of Mendocino we offer a serene and private setting not easily found in the village proper. Whatever your dream – simplicity, elegance, informal, large, small or in-between our concierge and wedding planner will work with you to ensure your dream is realized. Auberge Mendocino is a full-service Inn. Our concierge will make sure your guests are well taken care of arranging for special tours, spa treatments, and other area attractions. Besides our lavish breakfasts and homemade cookies, sherry and other treats, we offer a Champagne brunch on the day of your wedding. Our German trained chef, Karina Ulrich, is also available to cater an elegant hor d'oeuvre reception, a sumptuous champagne brunch or a sit-down dinner. Auberge Mendocino has 10 rooms and a cottage on the property and 2 near-by vacation rentals. We can accommodate up to 40 guests. Within a quarter mile of the main Inn are another 80 rooms and the campgrounds at Van Damme State Park. We do require the use of a wedding consultant and suggest Deborah Kanani of Mendocino Weddings (www.mendocinoweddings.com). We work closely with her and a select list of quality providers for catering, photography, cake, wines, flowers, event equipment, videography and spa salons and will facilitate introductions and presentations. Our goal is to help you choose the best match for your needs and budget. After an initial consultation, you will be able to reach us easily by phone or email. We will discount rooms at our best rate for your overnight stays for consultations and vendor meetings.
