Introduction
Welcome to the little changed country charm of Meadow Creek Ranch Bed and Breakfast Inn, originally an 1858 overnight stagecoach stop, old lumber mill and working ranch. Jessie Fremont, wife of the famous General John C. Fremont, stopped here in 1859 and slept in the ranch barn proclaiming Meadow Creek Ranch, "a haven of rest."
We continue a tradition with our guest rooms elegantly decorated using antiques and high, old fashioned queen-size beds. You can relax in the privacy of your rooms, each with its own entrance, bath, sitting area, and refreshment tray. Or if you like, you may enjoy the company of your hosts, international guests, and purring cats in the Main house living room, or library.
Wi-Fi DSL internet access is available in the main house and Garden Gate room.
Gather in the dining room for our family style breakfasts, all fresh and homemade.
Our special coffee by Mariposa Coffee company is freshly roasted and ground. Feel free to
wander the park like grounds on 7 acres. Dip your toes in the seasonal creek, admire the
meadow views, trees and wildlife from the front porch or just doze in the hammock.
Country Cottage
Country Cottage: Tucked in the trees, the old chicken coop has become a favorite choice for honeymoon and romantic retreats. Furnished with antiques, including an Austrian carved, queen size bed surrounded by a lace canopy. Soak in the claw foot tub in your private bath, with shower. Enjoy air conditioning or a cozy evening by the gas fire. Wi-Fi DSL internet access is not available in the Country Cottage, but is available in the The Garden Gate room and the main house.
The Garden Gate: A private garden patio entrance beckons you into The Garden Gate Room, a room of beautiful antiques. A carved oak queen size bed, sitting area, and twin bed tucked into an alcove will accommodate a party of three. This room also has air conditioning and a private bath with claw foot tub.
