The following are some specific details about capacities, facility charges, music, accommodations, rates, rentals and parking.
Located in Sonoma, 45 minutes from San Francisco and 15 minutes from Napa Valley, MacArthur Place is a luxurious wine country getaway situated on a lush historic country estate with 64 sumptuous rooms and suites, full-service spa, heated pool and whirlpool, six acres of spectacular gardens and award-winning dining.
ACCOMMODATIONS
MacArthur Place is delighted to extend wedding room blocks up to 20 sleeping rooms. Our hotel has a total of 35 guestrooms and 29 suites, including two individual cottages and two spectacular one-bedroom suites. We require a 50% deposit on the block at signing of the contract to guarantee the rooms until 90 days prior to the event. At 90 days, we will release any unused portion of the original block, unless acceptor wants to fully guarantee the block with a second deposit of the remaining room revenue balance.
RATES
Weekend guestroom rates range between $349 and $375 per room, per night and suites range between $450 and $850 per suite, per night. We are happy to extend a discount on our accommodations for your event. Rates for your group will vary depending on the season and day of the week. These rates are subject to change depending on availability.
EVENTS
MacArthur Place has a capacity for up to 125 guests, depending on location, for rehearsal dinners, wedding brunches and wedding ceremonies, followed by either a brunch, lunch, or dinner. Our country estate offers a variety of unique and beautiful spaces for your event, and our Chef's menus offer a variety of culinary options.
MUSIC
MacArthur Place is located in a residential area of Sonoma. Due to concern for our hotel guests and neighbors, we have requested that music not be amplified and limited to a quartet or smaller. MacArthur Place will work with you to ensure that the music will be appropriate.
RENTALS
For items that are not available from our banquet inventory such as specialty linens, glassware, heaters, chairs, or other items, there will be an additional rental charge to the wedding party plus a handling fee. Your Catering manager will discuss in detail all aspects of the event for your approval.
PARKING
On-site parking is limited, however, parking is available on adjacent streets outside the hotel. On weekends, hotel guests will consume the majority of parking spaces, which make it necessary to inform your guests about off-site parking. For parties larger than 50pp, we require hiring a valet service or shuttle to transport guests to the event. Your Catering manager will work with you to coordinate parking.
