The Lavender Inn has 7 rooms in addition to an attached cottage - each boasts a unique decor, a rich blend of period antiques, comfortable furnishings, bold colors and attention to detail. A charming, spacious cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway or longer stay with the kitchenette. Relax and read or talk in the cozy living room in front of the fire listening to music and sipping wine. The grounds are breathtaking with tall oaks, mountain views, fountains, a pond, and of course, a variety of lavenders.

We are a pet-friendly Inn! In fact there are sightings of our own dogs at the Lavender Inn. Vanessa's sweet Tia often gets invited by guests to the park. Jack, Beth's golden retriever, is well-behaved helping Beth in the office (but not so much at home). You won't see Kathy's springer Tucker at the Inn yet-the "T" in Tucker is for trouble-he's always in trouble. Diana's chihuahua is too tiny and only occasionally visits. There is a $25 cleaning fee for our guest dogs who can stay in Room 1 or the Provence Cottage with a private yard. In consideration of our other guests, please don't leave your dog alone in the room.

• Ojai Culinary School: The intimate Lavender Inn is the setting for the innovative Ojai Culinary School. The cooking school offers a wide variety of hands-on and demonstration cooking classes ranging from visiting chefs to local artisanal cooks. The emphasis on the cooking classes is to develop technique and expertise along with a sense of ease in the kitchen.

• Garden Spa: While you are in Ojai, treat your body and mind to wellness and stress reduction. Just outside the front garden is our new, convenient Garden Spa at the Lavender Inn. Enter through the Dutch door into a serene, comfortable setting with local artwork on the walls. Listen to the fountain outside while resting on our chaise, then go into a treatment room and relax with a massage or facial. After your treatment, you will wear one of our luxurious Lavender Inn seersucker robes and stroll back through the garden into your room. Call our office, 805-646-6635, for an appointment.

Ojai's Lavender Inn features exquisite Gardens and a Veranda which are memorable settings for an elegant Ceremony and/or Ojai Reception. The Gardens have an expansive, grassy area with fountains, a pond, majestic oaks and an abundance of flowers. Enjoy the intimate setting of renting out the entire Inn in Ojai so Family and Friends are a part of the celebration; this enables your event to extend over a period of days, not just an evening, which has been called "A Wedding Story". Some brides and grooms have opted for intimate weekday weddings. Also available is our smaller Cottage Wedding for less than 20 people located in the Provence Cottage and the private yard. Our Bridesmaid Parties range from Bridal Showers to the popular Private Cooking Class Party, either sleeping over at the Lavender Inn or just a scheduled 3 hr party. The Lavender Inn caters to both our vacationing guests and business travelers as well. The Library provides entertainment with a TV with Direct TV channels, DVD player, stereo, high speed wireless internet, and a library of books and DVDs. This wonderful antique table expands to accommodate up to 12 people for a meeting, catered lunch, or workshop. The library can be rented out by the hour or can be used without charge by guests staying with us. The room has been used for a weekly Ojai Business Builders meeting, a bi-monthly Local Computer Heroes service (open to the public with free computer trouble-shooting advice), informal group meetings, and scrapbooking workshops. The veranda can accommodate up to 25 seated for an informal meeting while the gardens are an ideal setting for a larger corporate event. The small size of our Ojai inn allows for privacy in a work-friendly environment for individual business travelers, a business meeting, or a corporate function.
