We are located steps from the sandy beach, 25 miles south of San Francisco, 100 miles west of Sacramento and 50 miles north of Santa Cruz. Eight elegant oceanfront rooms await you with all of the amenities you would expect from a five-star inn. In addition to a sweeping, unobstructed ocean view, each room offers a private deck, fireplace, television with VCR, stereo CD player, two phones with modem access as well as high-speed Internet access, and queen or king bed. Private bathrooms have extra deep whirlpool tubs and separate showers, except for the ADA-compliant room, which has an extra-large limestone shower. After a sumptuous breakfast and perhaps an early-morning workout in the fitness room, head out to experience Half Moon Bay and the coastal community of San Mateo County. The Coastline comfortably takes its place between the dramatic, green Santa Cruz Mountains to the east and the powerful blue-green Pacific Ocean to the west. Because of its geographic isolation, the area has not changed dramatically over the years. Dating back to 1840, Half Moon Bay is the oldest town in San Mateo County.
