The cottage is decorated with antiques and has a fully equipped kitchen where guests can help themselves to the ingredients for a self-serve farm breakfast. Fresh bread and organic grown vegetables are also provided. The cottage is located in one of California's most unique valleys with views of three alkaline lakebeds and plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

Another fascinating tour is the Cemetery Tour where you can learn about Lake City's Victorian-era personalities. You won't want to miss the Hinsdale County Music and the Hard Tack Mine and Museum, which is located near the Hidden Treasure Mill site and the ghost town, Treasure City. For your hungry tummy the Lake City Bakery, celebrating over 20 years, can provide you with all the breads, pastries, cookies, cakes and pies you can eat.
