Julian, California is located in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains. Every Sunday in November the city has a historic comedy skit performed by Julian Doves & Desperados. Also you can go on a Historic Walking tour to see its history from the Gold Rush to the 1920's. The Julian Pioneer Museum is also a fun family friendly activity where you and your family can view a treasure chest of artifacts. A one mile train ride can also be done on the narrow gauge mining railroad at Smith Ranch. And when you get hungry you can get a historic treat at Miner's Diner which features an original olde fashioned soda fountain, or you could try The Round-Up BBQ Grill that specializes in wood fire grilling. Julian is a great place for your family vacation. It is often known for its fantastic apple pies and is a fun day trip during the Fall season.
