Introduction
Hollyhock Farms is not only a beautiful slice of country living, it is one of the few remaining "small organic farms" that, unfortunately, are becoming a thing of the past. Located in the heart of the Central Coast of California, Hollyhock Farms Bed & Breakfast is the smart choice for your Paso Robles wine experience or just to relax and unwind.
We have spared no expense to provide a very comfortable home away from home. Double pillow-top mattresses, state-of-the-art climate control, and unmatched gourmet breakfasts to start your day. Perhaps the best recommendation is the fact that we experience dozens of return visits.
There is absolutely no competition. The Casa Rogers--Hollyhock Farms--is without a doubt the most charming, bountiful and beautiful home away from home in Central California. ~ Sarah & Priscilla
You can be sure that the quality of your experience here will match anything you hope to find in higher priced accommodations, but don't be surprised if you find us in the field picking tomatoes or if you are greeted by one of our many chickens.
Your hosts, Dick & Kim Rogers, are wine savvy organic farmers who came to the central coast in 1994 and carved an organic farm out of what was a horse ranch.
The Farm
We supply local restaurants with heirloom tomatoes, melons, peaches, pluots, squash, peppers and French plums. Our honor system roadside stand draws people who want produce "fresh from the field" and varieties that can only be found on a small farm. Our U-Pick flower fields are a favorite with many of our guests. Tomatoes LOVE our climate. We also raise rare Jacob Sheep.
Hollyhock Farms Group Tours
Organic farming, by its very nature, demands a commitment to education since many people are ill-informed about the concept. We especially invite school tours but we enjoy sharing our farm and its many dynamics with any tour group that is interested in learning about organic farming.
We are usually harvesting crops between late May and November.
We welcome restaurant inquiries. Call us at (805) 239-4713
or (805) 712-1880 or e-mail us at hollyhock@tcsn.net
Our roadside stand is open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week
(usually June 1st to November 1st).
Wow, I mean wow! It was all that we were hoping for and more. You guys were great! We look forward to coming to Hollyhock again! ~ Steph & Chris
