Intimately settled in an historic area of the foothills of Central Marin, the Gerstle Park Inn is in an ideal location for relaxation and seclusion, as well as to explore the beauty of Marin Country, the excitement of San Francisco, and the wonderful wines and countryside of the Napa Valley. Located next to Gerstle Park on one side and County woods on the other, the Inn offers the peace and quiet of the country, while at the same time being convenient to exciting destinations. The Inn is part of a century old estate on an acre and a half of beautiful Oak and Redwood trees. A welcoming veranda is the perfect spot for a cool drink and a good book. Enjoy a game on our croquet court Pick fruit from our orchard, explore adjacent walking trails, or take a stroll to downtown San Rafael. |

| Marin County offers to the visitor magnificent vistas and wonderful hiking, biking and picnic areas. Some of its top spots for exploring are Muir Woods and Mount Tamalpais, the beaches and open space of the Point Reyes Seashore Area, and the picturesque towns of Sausalito, Tiburon and Mill Valley. A number of the top restaurants in the Bay Area are in the county and a short distance from the Inn. | Beyond Marin County, the City of San Francisco is only a 20-minute drive and is also accessible by ferry. The Napa wine country is 45 minutes to the north of the Inn and the Sonoma wine area is only 30 minutes away. We offer our guests some suggested tours, which will more than fill your day. |

Despite all there is to do in the area, you may just never want to leave! All of the suites at the Inn are furnished with wonderful antiques and in beautiful palettes that invite relaxation. The Inn has achieved the perfect combination of comfort and elegance, warmth and sophistication. Each suite has a parlor area, designed for quiet reading and good conversation. Most of the suites have balconies or outside patios with lovely vistas. Two suites in the carriage house and two cottages offer fully-equipped kitchens for longer stay guests. Amenities include televisions and VCRs with a great movie library, CD players, telephones with voicemail, plush robes and hairdryers. Four suites also have jacuzzi tubs and one suite offers a steambath. For the business traveler, all of our suites offer good working desks and a data port line. A hardwood-paneled conference room is available for meetings. |

Breakfast is a special time at the Inn, and a full breakfast is offered in our lovely dining room over a 2-hour period. We provide choices and cook our breakfasts fresh to order. Evening wine is provided in our living room and snacks and drinks are available to guests 24 hours a day. |
