Jackson, California (CA) Bed & Breakfast: Besides the two rooms and two suites in the main house, all decorated with Victorian furnishings, there's a small cottage with a wood-burning stove and a Jacuzzi tub for two, and another two-bedroom cottage with a living room, kitchen/dining area, covered porch, and a gas barbeque. Breakfast is a full-scale affair with homemade bread or muffins, sausage, fresh fruit, and an entree.

Guest Rooms/Rates

Gate House Inn and offers four guest rooms in the Main House and a separate Summer House in a garden setting. Each guest room has a personality of its own. All rooms have air-conditioning, a private bathroom w/signature bath amenities. Room rate includes accommodations, the use of the solar heated swimming pool, bocce ball court, gardens and expansive porches. Wine and a nonalcoholic beverage are served in the afternoon with appetizers. A full breakfast served at 9 am in the original family dining room. Room rates are for double occupancy.

Overlooks side garden through three large windows. The furnishings are Louis XIV French walnut with gold trim and include queen bed. Bath has a stall shower.

Parlor Room ~ $155 + tax

Lovely downstairs room with a beautiful view of the side gardens. The furnishings are elegant antique Italian. The private bath has a 6 ft. antique bottom fill clawfoot tub for 2 and a generous stall shower.

Master Suite ~ $175 + tax

Upstairs room with large Victorian queen bed and several other period pieces in ample sitting area overlooking front gardens, scenic hillside and Jackson Creek. Fireplace for cozy evenings. Private bath.

Summer House ~ $195 + tax

Private, separate 400 square foot cottage behind main house. Victorian furnishings and other period pieces are enhanced by a wood stove, Jacuzzi tub for two, stall shower, coffeemaker and mini refrigerator.

Woodhaven Suite ~ $185 + tax

Gracious upstairs two-room suite with sitting room (with a queen sofa sleeper) and antique white iron queen bed overlooking the backyard garden. The bath is divided between the clawfoot tub/ shower room and a water closet vanity room. There is a secret stairway exiting downstairs to a screened porch. Rate is double occupancy. There is an additional $35 per adult per night and $25 per child under 12 per night. This room has a maximum occupancy of 4 persons.

  • Two night minimum stay on weekends, with the exception of The Master Suite, which can be reserved for one night on a non holiday/festival weekend.
  • Call after 2 PM for last minute weekend availability.
  • Rates are subject to applicable taxes and are subject to change without notice.
  • Cancellations must be made 10 or more days prior to the reserved date of arrival.
  • MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express cards are accepted.
  • Gift certificates are available.
  • Check-in begins at 3 PM. Please advise if arriving later than 6:30 PM.
  • Check-Out is at 11 AM.
  • Pets cannot be accommodated.
  • SMOKING is not permitted inside the inn.
