Encinitas is also home to the Cottonwood Creek environmental film festival. This festival features inspiring films dealing with the environment and pollution. The ocean side location and moderate temperatures combine to make the region an enjoyable place to visit. The rare bamboo groves at Quail Botanical Gardens make for a unique and enjoyable adventure.
