It is a beautiful place to get back to nature and your roots. The region has become popular for its one of a kind bird watching. The pioneers went through "Emigrant Gap" when traveling west along the California Trail. The El dorado Hotel and Casino restaurant is a five star establishment that people must visit when coming to Emigrant Gap. The Firehouse Restaurant and the Horseshoe Bar and Grill should also be visited. The B&B’s in the area are excellent and definitely worth your time.
