Elliott House Bed & Breakfast

The Elliott House Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains in the village of Shaver Lake, offers a picturesque setting that stands apart from others. Much of the beauty is attributed to the 5,600-foot elevation, surrounded by majestic pine trees that flourish beneath true blue skies.

The inn is best suited for small gatherings, up to 25 people, depending on the time of year. The gathering place within the inn, the Fireside Room, reflects a lodge-style décor with handcrafted cedar walls, oak floors and ambient lighting, creating a cozy background for an intimate reception of friends and family. The focal point is a hand set granite stone fireplace, dating back more than 50 years. In the warmer weather, you are invited to take advantage of the inn's two decks, plus the lawn and garden, ideal for outdoor entertaining.

Gourmet Food Service
Our extensive gourmet menus provide a tempting variety of California cuisine, from hors d'oeuvres to desserts, and much in between. We serve your food and beverage choices in buffet style, designed as food stations for the ease and comfort of you and your guests. We specialize in a tantalizing blend of gourmet food and beverage service, custom tailored for your needs. Cost per person is $40 but may vary depending on your menu choices. In addition, we can offer you our professional expertise to help coordinate the other aspects of your reception, including the wedding cake, flowers, minister, music, video, photographer and decorations.

Honeymoon Lodging
As the perfect wedding day settles into evening, settle in to your honeymoon suite, featuring a cozy sitting area centered around a gas-log stove. The Sugar Pine Suite features a comfortable queen feather bed outfitted in luxurious linens. The corner jetted tub for two, in your private bathroom, invites you to relax and unwind. Plus, we will serve you a romantic Champagne and Candlelight Breakfast in Bed in the morning.

Note: In addition to the cost of the food and beverage service calculated on menu choices, there is a minimum $175 facility fee. The wedding event package includes one evening's accommodations in the Sugar Pine Suite for the newlyweds. Other suites at the inn are not included in the wedding package, but can be reserved for friends and family at the regular room rate. A 50% deposit of the total cost is due at the time of reservation for the wedding event. Cancellation must be made 60 days prior to the reservation date for a refund, minus a non-refundable cancellation fee of $75. The 50% deposit will be not be returned if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to the wedding event.
