Even though your journey may be little more challenging, the winter is the most breathtaking of all. As the snowflakes float to the ground you can cuddle even closer to the crackling fire. Nearby winter sports include skiing, snow mobiling, sledding, and old-fashioned snowman building. Your hosts will introduce you to the best skiing, fishing, boating, hiking and horseback riding of the resort area. The inn is just steps from shops, restaurants, pubs and an invigorating 20-minute walk to the lake.

The onset of spring signals wildflowers and dogwoods to reveal their blossoms. Cooler temperatures and soft breezes, typical of summer in the forest, provide ideal conditions for outdoor activities, from invigorating water sports to passive relaxation.

Cooking is our passion. We kick it up here in our kitchen and consistently turn out recipes that will bring you back for more. We're proud to share a secret that we serve some of the tastiest dishes created by renowned chefs, but many of our best recipes are the tried and true family favorites, passed on from one to another. Like Mom's melt in-your-mouth Irish scones, Aunt Rita's yummy lemon bars, and we can't leave out Greg's extra moist banana nut bread. The journals in each of our suites are filled with compliments for the food and the personal service each and every one of our guests receive.

• Check-in is 3pm. Guests arriving early are welcome to enjoy our common areas until your suite is readied for your arrival. Special arrangements must be made for guests arriving after 7 pm. Check-out is 12 pm.
• Cancellation Policy
  • Suites: If you need to cancel please remember that we have a seven day cancellation policy with a full refund. If you cancel less than seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will charge you one evening's accommodations if staying one night only, or one-half of your total reservation if you are staying multiple evenings, or one-half of your total if you reserved one of our special packages. Please note there is no refund for early check-out at any of our locations.
  • Vacation Cabin Rentals and Holiday Periods: During holidays and for our vacation cabins we have a 14-day cancellation policy with a full refund. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will charge you in full for your reservation.
