What can be fresher than eating fruit kissed by the morning sun and fresh bread from a wood fired oven? Breakfast at Eden Vale Inn highlights the bounty of local produce. Inspired by the cuisines of the world, Eden Vale Inn breakfasts will satisfy all palates. Each morning a seasonally changing cooked to order breakfast is served in the main house or in the outdoor Pavilion. Specials of the house are tender hot out of the oven scones, scrumptious buttermilk pancakes covered with warm Pink Lady apples from Apple Hill, fresh squeezed juice from locally grown mandarins, and flaky quiches made with just picked tomatoes and herbs from the garden. A rich and rewarding cup of Torrefaziono coffee helps get the day started right. Gourmet coffee, packet and loose tea, as well as hot chocolate are available throughout the day. Each afternoon a selection of housemade pastries and cookies are set out. Daily delivered papers are the San Francisco Chronicle and Financial Times.

Overlooking a series of ponds and surrounded by rolling tree fringed hills you will find a lush and inviting garden to stroll and relax in. You will be soothed by the many water features and discover flower and vine covered pavilions. Under a mature canopy of conifers and deciduous trees, the garden highlights grasses, small conifers and flowering shrubs. No matter what the season there is always something to discover in Eden Vale Inn's ever changing paradise. A large vegetable and fruit garden provide year round fresh produce for Eden Vale Inn's guests. Locally created art pieces provide a sense of discovery to your wanderings.

Evenings, soak in your private two-person outdoor tub, enjoy the intimacy of your room or gather around the fire pit overlooking the "Big Dipper Pond." A fabulous spring-fed pond with clear waters that support our lively population of pet rainbow trout. A lush wildflower garden and walking path surrounds the pond.

Local wines and unique cheeses are served each afternoon in the Eden Vale Inn Pavilion. El Dorado County wineries are renowned for making vibrantly flavorful, distinctly delicious wines, grown in the dramatic elevations of the Sierra Nevada. The innkeepers will share special places to explore, help you with your itinerary or suggest dining options for the evening.
