...an historic house by the sea Guests enter the Channel Road Inn through massive Colonial Revival doors and proceed to the elegant living room furnished to evoke images of a Santa Monica home in the early 1920s. Named by the readers of Sunset Magazine as one of the best Bed & Breakfast Inns in the West and featured in Country Inns Magazine, the Channel Road Inn is located in rustic Santa Monica Canyon just one block from the beach.

The Inn is only minutes from the business and residential communities of Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Malibu, Westwood, Beverly Hills and Century City; ten minutes from Pepperdine University and UCLA; twenty minutes from the airport, twenty-five minutes from downtown. Nearby are Santa Monica Pier and Will Rodgers Park. Several of the city's well-known restaurants are within walking distance and the famous new Getty Center is just 10 miles to the East.

Guests can then enjoy the sunny, well stocked library. Wine and cheese are served here every afternoon, or beside the blazing fire in the living room. Our outdoor areas include a rose garden and private hillside hot tub on the upper lawn, and a front porch and back patio by the house. The aroma of rich strong coffee or warm baked goods are most noticeable from the handsome breakfast room which overlooks the hillside. Bicycles for exploring the 30 mile ocean side path are available for guests' enjoyment. Visit art galleries and museums or golf at PenMar golf course.
