Butter Creek Ranch Vineyard
We planted our vineyard in 1999, one acre of Pinot Noir and one acre of Chardonnay grapes. The remainder consists of small plantings of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris and Viognier. Warm summer days and cool summer nights help to improve the color, acids and flavors of the grapes and wine. Harvesting usually occurs from mid-September to mid-October.
