20 minutes from La Jolla, 30 minutes from the Wild Animal Park, 25 minutes from the Mexican border (Tijuana), 45 minutes from Mt. Laguna.

A Beach Bed & Breakfast is a short 1/2 block walk to the bathing/surfing beach, a public fishing pier, and the seaside cliffs with their tidal pools. Also, within walking distance are a wide range of restaurants, pubs, coffee houses, groceries, hardware, office supply, surf shops, post office, banks, etc. One of the unique shopping opportunities is the collection of quality antique stores and malls.

Within easy freeway access are all the major attractions found in the San Diego region - San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Cabrillo National Monument, Mission Bay Park, Old Town State Park, downtown shopping, convention center, dining and theaters, scores of golf courses, Balboa Park with the Old Globe Theater, museums, and open park land.

Coronado is a short 20 minute drive, or take the ferry for a fun excursion. La Jolla is a 20 minute drive north. Tijuana, Mexico is a close 25 minute drive south, or take the trolley right to the border. The Laguna Mountains and Cuyamaca State Park are within an hour's drive.

The Inn's features double occupancy guest rooms - queen size beds all rooms have private baths - all have adjacent patio or balcony common dining room and common living room, both with working fireplaces - TV available in the common living room.

A Beach Bed & Breakfast - Elsbree House was built in 1991 in New England flavor. It is owned and operated by Katie and Phil Elsbree who live on site. Corporate travelers are welcome. Breakfast is a self-serve continental featuring homemade bread, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, juice.
