The Mountain Room

If you are so inclined, we can arrange for a wine tasting tour in the neighboring towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang, and Buellton have to offer, including the beautiful and legendary area of the Santa Rita Hills. Our area has a long history of horse ranching with horse back riding excursion and is a destination for cycling enthusiasts, golfing with three wonderful courses to play, including the celebrated Alisal and La Purisima courses. With the vast selection of activities and comfortable meeting spaces, our country inn represents a great place to hold you next family reunion or small business retreat.

A delicious and indulgent full breakfast, included with your stay, is served in our dining room each morning. Along with buffet offerings of fresh fruits and house made pastries, a choice of hot entrees are offered and may include omelets, waffles, French toast, or other breakfast specialties. There is sure to be something to please everyone!

The Restaurant at the Ballard Inn is one of the most intimate and romantic dining destinations in the Santa Ynez Valley. With just 12 tables, soft music, candle light, and a roaring fireplace, the atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. Our servers are eager to help guests relax and enjoy what is sure to be a memorable dining experience. Our fifteen guest rooms are unique and beautifully decorated, designed to capture a particular aspect of the Santa Ynez Valley's rich history. The rooms have a warm and inviting atmosphere creating a private retreat for our guests featuring antique furnishings, down duvets and private bathrooms. Many of our rooms have additional features, such as wood burning fireplaces and private balconies.

Policies

Rates range from $245 - $315 per night
We have a 7 day cancellation policy.
Cancellations made within 7 days PRIOR to arrival date will be held responsible for all room charges unless the room can be resold.
Any cancellation outside of 7 days is subject to a $25 processing fee.
Cancellation is not accepted by fax, email and/or voice message and is not confirmed until you have received a cancellation confirmation number.
Check in 3:00 pm - check out 12:00 am.
State, local taxes and 10% service charge will be added to the room rate per night.
