| Acacia House was designed & built in the Italianate style for the host in 1994 & is noted for its magnificent Oakland hills views, soaring ceilings and grand windows. This one of a kind home is graced by native California live oak trees & an occasional Acacia. A security gate opens onto a winding walkway with stairs that leads you through a hand-made Australian cherry & lace wood door & welcomes you into a plant-filled atrium adjacent to the Acacia Suite. The Acacia Suite affords the utmost in privacy and comfort. The sitting room bedroom, and private bath are furnished in antiques and art collected from around the world. A wet bar with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker is available for limited use. |

| Special PackagesAdditional Room Available at Acacia House Acacia House now offers an additional guest room with private bath, the Upstairs Guest Room with Hill View. This room is suitable for one to two guests only and has a magnificent view of the Oakland hills. Amenities include: private bath with shower, wireless DSL internet service, minirefrigerator, welcome fruit basket and bottle of wine. No breakfast service is included. The rate is $125 per night with a two night minimum. This room is ideal for an additional guest accompanying guests staying in the Acacia Suite. |

| Your Host | Your host, Brenda Reed, is a world traveler and collector of unique art & furnishings. She is a transplant from Virginia & Tennessee and serves the community as a mediator. Her co-hostess, a friendly golden retriever, named Freya, will enjoy leading you on a walk around the neighborhood. |
