In keeping with the European character of the inn and the European background of its innkeepers, a heart and health-friendly Continental breakfast buffet (un petit de'jeuner) is included with each day of your stay. For those wishing to skip breakfast, we deduct $40 from room rate.
The Inn's Innkeeper/Chef, Lily Vieyra, is a native of Belgium, where she trained under family friend and 4-Star Chef, Jacques Julien, in his renowned restaurant, Chez Nous, which produced the finest French cuisine in the region. Here, as there, Lily uses only the finest and freshest of ingredients, some of which come from the Inn's own organic gardens & orchard.
Her sous-chef, gardener and husband, Doug, has also worked as a merchant seaman,
wilderness ranger, history teacher, writer, and movie extra. Speaking French, Dutch,
German and English, Doug and Lily have traveled Europe extensively, and learned
the innkeeping profession in Switzerland.
