Some of the region's best auto and motorcycle racing can be seen at Virginia International Raceway, just 25 minutes from Oak Grove Plantation Bed & Breakfast. Watch top-ranked racers compete for the prizes, then stay overnight at our inn. If you're in the family of a racer, you may enjoy coming here for some peace and quiet after busy race days.

You also may enjoy dining at the Oak Tree Tavern, a plantation home that was once the Bruce Foote House, as we did. When power went out during a lightning storm, the servers gave us two drinks, two sets of rolls, salad and dessert without charging us.
Wait, there's more: Stock car racing is also held every two or three weeks at South Boston Speedway: July 31, Aug. 14, Aug. 28 and Sept. 4. It's located less than 15 minutes from Oak Grove.
