The internationally known Aliceville Museum houses artifacts from Camp Aliceville, a WWII prisoner of war camp where 6,000 German soldiers lived from 1943 to 1945. In the collection are uniforms, weapons, photographs, artwork and many other items handmade by German prisoners.
The Museum offers a unique glimpse of military history. The POW Collection, the largest of its kind in the United States, draws people from around the world. Also housed at the Museum are a US Veterans Military Collection and the 1948 vintage Coca-Cola Bottling Works.
