A Halloween Anniversary

Maury Place at MonumentOn Halloween four years ago we welcomed our very first B&B guests to Maury Place at Monument.  We were brand new innkeepers at the time, having spent the previous couple of years attending seminars, renovating our home, and practicing our breakfast skills!  We had looked at both Lexington and Richmond Virginia as possible sites, and settled on a 1916 home facing the Maury Statue on Monument Avenue for our new bed and breakfast.

These four years have been a busy and rewarding time, with many wonderful guests spending with us. Our neighborhood location has been perfect, with Monument Avenue right out our front door, and walking distance to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Virginia Historical Society, and Carytown.  The Richmond Marathon and Monument Avenue 10k run by the inn.  We have had guests visit us from as far as New Zealand, with visitors coming for our area's historical and Civil war sites, our universities, museums and gardens, and even for in-town getaways.

To celebrate we are offering an Anniversary Special - stay 3 nights and get the fourth night free.  Reserve now and help us start our fifth year of hospitality!
